Pam Donkin is an an award-winning children's musician on the acclaimed children's label, A Gentle Wind. Pam has appeared nationally in concerts, schools, libraries, and on television and radio. Her video Music is Magic has been broadcast on The Learning Channel and her music has been licensed to several educational recordings and publications including Scholastic Inc. Cambridge University Press, Cambridge UK and CONEXIA EDUCAÇÃO, Brazil.
She makes her home on the San Francisco Peninsula. In addition to offering interactive and educational pre-school assemblies and library programs. Pam is married with three grown children and a young Grandson, all of whom have a great passion for music.

May 2011 - Pam's music has been licensed to Flying Bounce House Records, Train Songs for Kids that Rock.
January 2011 - A Hop, Skip, and a Jump wins a Kids Music Award for Best Album
April 2010 - Pam returns to tour Portland Oregon Libraries
February 2010 - Pam's music is being played on www.TotsRadio.com. It's a great radio station for preschoolers! Check it out!
October 2009 - Pam is in Asheville, NC for the Children's Music Network National Conference and completes a 6 year term on the Board of Directors and Executive Committee for the organization.
August 2009 - Pam performs for families in Maui, Hawaii.
April 2009 - Pam adds Burlingame and San Mateo Music Together classes to Millbrae classes and opens Peninsula Music Together, on the San Francisco Peninsula. Classes for babies, toddlers, preschoolers and the adults who love them.
January 2009 - Through A Gentle Wind, Pam has licensed 1 of her songs from "A Hop, Skip, and a Jump" for a CD for Learning Groove's parent- child classes.
December 2008 - Through A Gentle Wind, Pam has licensed 4 of her songs from quot;A Hop, Skip, and a Jump" for a CD for Suzuki Village's Musical Journey parent-child classes.
November 2007 - CD, "A Hop, Skip, and a Jump" receives two Children's Music Web Awards! Best Recording for Babies & Toddlers and Best Recording for Preschoolers, and receives rave reviews for the CD, from American Library Association Booklist, School Library Journal, and Parents' Choice.
September/October 2007 - Pam is on tour in 4 states! NY, MA, ME and NH, attending the Children's Music Network National Conference, presenting a Family Concert for A Gentle Wind, Jewish Preschool Music shows and library programs.
June 2007 - CD "A Hop, Skip, and a Jump" receives the Creative Child Magazine Seal of Excellence.
May 2007 - Pam attends the Music Together Directors Weekend in Princeton, NJ. Pam also presents assembly programs and library shows in Long Island and Brooklyn, NY.
April 2007 - Pam is on tour in Columbus, Ohio presenting Friendship Stew with a Cup of Character and her Jewish Preschool Music Show.
April 2007 - CD "A Hop, Skip, and a Jump" receives a Parents' Choice Award.

January 2007 - Pam goes to New Orleans teams up with Johnette Downing, We Care New Orleans, to entertain children whose preschools were destroyed in Katrina but are now up and running. Please join us in sending art and music items to preschools in New Orleans. Email Pam for addresses.
December 2006 - "My Kiddie Video," by Family Favorite Entertainment, is released on DVD - This beautifully produced video inlcudes songs by Pam Donkin, most notably "EWOP," and others, and also includes songs by Magical Music Express. Each video shows includes fun-filled scenes of babies and kids at play!
February 2006 - The song, "Friendship Stew," is included in Scholastic's Circle Time "Sing-Along Flip Chart & CD" for elementary classrooms.
April 2005 - Pam opens Auburn Music Together, Auburn, CA
February 2005 - Pam filmed two more episodes of the SF Peninsula, cable-access, children's TV show, that she hosts, "Kaleidoscope Kids". Look for them on Peninsula TV and MCTV.
November 2004 - Pam wins 2 Childrens Music Web awards! Her song, "EWOP" (Everything Works Out Perfectly), from her recording, "Friendship Stew," is Children's Music Web Award winner of the 2004 Best Song for Younger Children and her CD, "Music is Magic," is CMW Award winner of the 2004 Classic Recording for Pre-School category. This is very special because these are the only national awards actually chosen by children!
October 2003 - Pam is elected to the board of the Children’s Music Network.
August 2002 - Pam tapes the pilot for her new children’s TV show, "Kaleidoscope Kids" on MCTV/PENTV public access San Francisco Peninsula. Look for it on your local public access station soon!
December 2001 - "Friendship Stew" CD is awarded the Award of Excellence by The Film Advisory Board.

January 2001 - Pam has licensed her song, "EWOP," to Enchantment Entertainment, a children’s video company, who set many of her songs to video! Additionally, she wrote the theme song, "My Kiddie Video."

Pam is proud to be on the Board of Directors and is a member of the Children’s Music Network, a national childrens music organization. CMN recognizes children’s music as a powerful means of encouraging cooperation, celebrating diversity, building self-esteem, promoting respect and responsibility for our environment, and cultivating an understanding of nonviolence and social justice. CMN membership includes full-time and part-time performers, professional and amateur songwriters, classroom teachers, music educators, record producers, distributors, broadcasters, parents, grandparents, and children.
